Between sweet valleys and steep reliefs, the GR223 offers the Hague an astonishing variety of landscapes and striking contrasts. An experience to live for the more athletic attracted to spray! 

Connecting the Seine estuary to Mont-Saint-Michel, over almost 660 km, it takes a large part of coastal paths here, including the famous customs trail. Until the beginning of the 20th century, this path was indeed used to monitor the coast due to smuggling with the neighboring islands.

For homeless people, the Gr.223 is a great playground. For hikers, 7 hiking loops are present in the Geoparc La Hague and allow you to discover both the coast and the interior of the land.

In order to develop the practice of nature sports in the Hague, the town of La Hague, in connection with the Cotentin Tourist Office, has developed and proposed trail stations and hiking routes.
