Central equipment of the educational offer of the Geoparc La Hague, Le Tourp offers an educational offer adapted to different school levels, from kindergarten, to high school. The team develops an educational approach based on immersion and "learning in the field": starting from the observation of reality and its complexity to arouse questions, ask hypotheses, make the student actor of their learning, develop their critical mind. The objective of the geoparc La Hague is to become a privileged apprenticeship field for environmental education and sustainable development at the local level.
The educational offer
Each year, a catalog of educational activities and outings adapted to all levels, from kindergarten to high school, is offered. Four themes are invested today: geology, archeology, environment and landscapes and finally heritage and know-how.
By resting on the heritage wealth of the territory (natural, cultural, intangible) and different formats (workshops, visit, educational tools, etc.), the offer makes it possible to mobilize a panel of skills identified in school programs.






The accommodation offer for classes
The municipality of La Hague has several group accommodations (accommodating up to 15 people or even two groups of 15) in the delegated municipalities of Biville, Urville-Nacqueville, and Digulleville. In addition, the Thomas Hélye reception center, located in Biville and managed by the Diocese of Coutances, also offers a large-capacity accommodation.
