La Hague is known for the quality of its landscapes. Its coastal fringe, in particular, is subject to national protection under the site policy (1930 law). However, camping and caravanning are prohibited in classified sites*, except in authorized campsites.

Two campsites are open in the area:

In addition to campsites, while waiting to propose a reception scheme for its travelling visitors, which is in accordance with the regulations in force in its territory, the municipality has identified various locations available to users of motorhomes/converted vans to allow them to park, in complete serenity, at night.

These locations are as follows (Location / Latitude / Longitude):

Motorhome owners are asked to leave these reception areas before the facilities open, so as to restore their use as parking lots.

Motorhome owners are strongly advised to favour the "car" routes, to avoid finding themselves in difficult situations, as the narrowness of the roads and hamlets of La Hague is well known.

* Articles L. 341 et seq. of the Environmental Code relating to classified and registered sites and Article R111-33 of the Town Planning Code relating to the prohibition of camping practiced in isolation and to the creation of campsites in classified or registered sites.
