A tailor-made show for the schools of La Hague

December 2, 2025

All week and next week, at Tourp, Maison de la Hague, the Cherbourg company Le Rhino l'a vu is offering a new show on the theme of legends, specially designed for children from the schools of La Hague.

The troupe, composed of François Bartier and Christelle Lefèbvre, found inspiration in Sébastien Houillier's book "La chasse aux goublins" (The Goblin Hunt), which is the subject of a temporary exhibition at Le Tourp until January 4th. The two actors portray Professor Sébouille, a world expert on mysterious creatures—fairies, goblins, varous, and other white ladies—and his much more skeptical servant, Joséphine, who holds an incredible secret. A funny and informative show, complete with some surprising special effects!

Children from schools in Tonneville, Auderville, Beaumont-Hague, and Omonville-la-Rogue are enjoying exclusive, private performances of this show, specially designed as part of a correspondence project between several French geoparks. This first session of the school year focuses on the theme of legends and the imagination. Other themed visits will follow, covering topics such as geology, archaeology, and biodiversity.

This project is funded by Tourp, Maison de la Hague, as part of the La Hague Geopark.
