On Thursday, May 22nd, primary, middle, and high school teachers from the Manche department were invited to discover the educational programs offered at Le Tourp and the Hague Geopark. During this meeting, organized by the team of educators from the heritage sites (Le Tourp and the birthplace of Jean-François Millet), participants were able to explore the numerous workshops offered at both locations. Basile Salmon, the Geopark's liaison teacher, seconded by the French Ministry of Education, was also present and provided teachers with a brief introduction to the geology of La Hague. Following this, the educators presented the latest offerings in a practical and detailed manner: workshops, site visits, and educational kits—the entire range of programs was covered, providing teachers with valuable information for planning an upcoming visit with their class.

Note that all educational materials can be viewed and downloaded online:
If you are a teacher and were unable to attend this meeting, the team of facilitators is available to answer all your questions and to organize your visit project with you.
