The first tourist card of the geoparc La Hague has just been released! Made within the framework of the Hague candidacy at the UNESCO World Geoparc label, this card presents the different facets of the Hague and distinguishes in particular 4 coastal facades with singular characteristics. In reference to the names of the winds given by the Norman fishermen, it thus differentiates the east coasts (upstream wind), north (Horzain wind), west (avowal wind) and south (fairground wind). Each visitor is invited to take the time to go and experience these different landscape atmospheres partly shaped by these winds of the Hague. To facilitate this immersion, different activities are offered (hiking, nautical activities, ride, visit, etc.).

More than a tourist card ...
To support visitors in the discovery of this territory to geology and exceptional landscapes, the map indicates all the points of interest and services useful for a responsible visit: campsites, food shops, restaurants, public toilets, bus stops ...
A more detailed presentation of geosites - the points of interest of the geoparc - also allows curious visitors to discover the riches of this territory and to learn a little more about the genesis of the landscapes of the Hague.
The card is also available in an interactive version.
